  1. DBR is one of the most inspirational musician-composers and gifted teachers I have ever seen. During his residency with Portland Ovations last year, I watched him coach young people who had never held a musical instrument and collaborate with young rock musicians. He encouraged several students to pick up his treasured violin and taught them to play a few notes. To witness the awe in which all the students held him, especially the young people who had the chance to play his violin or collaborate in the creative process, was one of my most treasured memories.

  2. Nothing like watching a gifted teacher Barri Lynn! Thank you for your comments. I hope I can see this man in action!
