Congress designated Arts in Education Week – the second week in September – to promote and showcase the immense role arts education plays in producing engaged, successful, and college-and career-ready students. Celebrate Arts in Education Week 2012, September 9-15!
While Arts in Education Week will take place during busy back-to-school activities, it also offers an extraordinary opportunity to ‘Start with the Arts’ by calling attention to the essential value of learning in the visual arts and performing arts within your school and community.
