Thanks to Madison Art Teacher Lisa Ingraham for sending me the link to this TEDed video called How Playing an Instrument Creates Fireworks in Your Brain. In her words: “It’s pretty great!” Researchers have looked closely at the brain to see what is happening when people are “listening” to music AND when “making music” is taking place.
