This exhibit, and an artists reception, is being offered as part of the first Schoodic Institute Winter Festival offering science, art, and outdoor winter fun activities for families and adult participants. Featured presenters include Bernd Heinrich, Garrett Conover, Gail Moorhouse, Alexandra Conover Bennett, Blake Hendrickson, Chuck Whitney, and Breanna Pinkham Bebb.

The Festival will run Feb 19-22, and an Artists Reception will be held Saturday, Feb 21st, at 5 pm.
Works of any medium will be accepted and will be selected from all entries. Please note space is limited. Entry forms are required and will be available on line at www.schoodicinstitute.org/event/schoodic-institute-winter-festival/

Title of the artwork, materials used, description, and a photo or detailed conceptual plan, are required to accompany application found at http://www.schoodicinstitute.org/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/Winter-Show-call-for-artists-and-application-form1.pdf. Artwork must be original in concept, design, and execution.

Entry Criteria: Acceptance of entries is at the discretion of the Show Committee.
Entry form and photo or detailed plan must be submitted to Susan Lerner susanlerner17@gmail.com, no later than Jan 15, 2015.

  • Works must be delivered to the Schoodic Institute between 9:00 and 11:00 am on February 2 by the artist or his/her representative. Assistance will be provided.
  • Works must be on display for the entire length of the Show
  • Works must be picked up at the Schoodic Institute on March 6 between 9:00 and 11:00 am. Space is not available to store artwork at the Schoodic Institute.
