MEGAT Conference
October 4, 2018Gifted and Talented Fall Conference
Amping Up Engagement is the title of the annual fall Maine Gifted and Talented Conference being held on Friday, November 9, 2018 at the Black Bear Inn in Orono.
The cost is $75 which includes a year of MEGAT membership. Added this year is a Student Creativity Contest. The theme is “What lights you UP?”

Argy, I have an idea….. Maybe I could pitch my alabaster carving workshop to G & T students at this conference? I could either just make a flyer to be given out or have a table set up with info at the break times? Whaddaya think? I am a teaching artist on MAC Roster and have done this previously with students at a few schools.

I suggest that you reach out to Ruth Lyons (she’s a peach!) at ruthlyons@rsu22.org and check to learn if they have a space for you to do a workshop. If not, offer a table in their vendor area to provide this opportunity for participants. It’s a great conference with very interested participants. ~Argy
