“You Get What You Give” by New Radicals

Yes, this is a commercial, however, it provides a feel good story. Starring an eight year old star giving the performance of her life, all for her mum. Directed by Michael Gracey, the director of The Greatest Showman. The Show tells the story of the North Star overcoming her nerves to deliver a performance of a lifetime, to the amazement of mum. She is supported by a huge cast of 59 kids aged 6-11, all dressed as a variety of Christmas staples – including a turkey drummer and set of Christmas lights (plug included). The cast all dance and sing along as the stage transforms to reveal a 40ft Christmas tree and a 14ft glitter-filled gravy boat.

Uniting Through Traditions

I hope you’re spending this holiday with those who you love the most, in your memory, electronically or in person! As my Dad used to say when he answered the phone during the holiday: “Merry!”

Jingle Bells

If this doesn’t bring a smile to your face, I’m not sure what will today. Germany’s largest supermarket chain, Edeka, surprised its shoppers with a seasonal treat. They livened up the otherwise boring chore of grocery shopping by having cashiers delighting their patient shoppers with a choreographed orchestra that beeped (and a bit of bebop) the Christmas classic, “Jingle Bells.”

Elton John

John Lewis and Partners created this video… This year’s story is about the power of a gift. And how that gift inspired, changed and influenced the course of a little boy’s life. That little boy just happens to be Elton John. The film begins in present day and works backwards chronologically through Elton’s life right until the moment on Christmas morning when he received the special gift that changed his life.
