Last call to artists – decline, June 17
The deadline for submitting an entry to the Pumpkinfest T-Shirt Design Contest is approaching quickly. Monday, June 17, 2019 is the deadline to submit an entry for this year’s contest. The winning design will be printed on this year’s official 2019 Pumpkinfest t-shirts and other apparel. The artist who creates the winning design will receive a $500 prize.
To be eligible for submitting an entry for the $500 prize, the artist must be a Maine resident (year-round or summer), including students attending Maine universities and colleges. To be considered, the artwork must be received no later than the deadline of Monday, June 17, 2019, and must follow these guidelines:
- Be original, professional quality artwork (no photographs).
- Include the words “2019 Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta™”.
- Represent the Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta’s family-friendly and festive nature.
- While color is encouraged, the design should avoid elements that do not reproduce clearly, such as watercolor or shading.
- The finished design should be 12″ x 13″ in size.

- Hard copy, postal-mailed to: Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta, P.O. Box 1101,
Damariscotta, ME 04543-1101, and/or
- Electronically in JPG format, emailed as an attachment to…
artists@damariscottapumpkinfest.com or saved onto a thumb drive and postal-mailed.
The winning design’s creator will be contacted by a Damariscotta Pumpkinfest & Regatta representative. At the conclusion of the contest, all of the submitted original designs will be return mailed to the artists.
