Wellness Gatherings
| Laughter is Good Medicine! As you may remember, since 2013 we have held annual Wabanaki Wellness Gatherings in or near tribal communities for Wabanaki people and friends to learn, celebrate, and engage in activities around a particular theme.While we were not able to gather safely in 2020, we connected through Zoom instead recording scenes from our favorite play, Indian Radio Days: An Evolving Bingo Experience by LeAnne Howe and the late Roxy Gordon.We have performed staged readings of this play at many of our Wellness Gatherings over the years where everyone has a great time performing, working backstage, and enjoying it from the crowd.
